Easter basket.

Good morning all,the sun is shining here so hopefully a lovely day even though abit cold will be had.
It`s a quick post just to show a basket i made and was given to Sam`s teacher for Easter.
It was my first one which i have to say was easy to make and i was pleased with the result.
Now as i had a busy week last week,i left it plain.I also went for the larger size basket i didn't fill it with the eggs + rabbit until Thursday night only to discover that it was quite big and the little chocolate rabbit i got to sit in the middle looked silly. So luckily the school is at the back of a Tesco,it was a quick dash in the shop to pick up a bunny that didn't look out of place.

I distress the edges with walnut stain, added a handle punched with a MS punch,a couple of brads to secure.I had some yellow shredded tissue and added some eggs and the bunny the next morning.
The basket was made from a 9" piece of kraft card,so next time i`ll be doing the 6" one so my chocolate bunny wont feel lost in there! Also i will give details of the tutorial for it too.I have it somewhere on the computer but haven't got time to search for it at the min,but i will post it,promise.
Have a great Sunday,
Kelly.
