WOW,it`s been a while since i last put anything on here.
I hope everyone had a fab Christmas and New year.Hard to think were almost at the end of Jan already!!!
This card is for my big sisters birthday tomorrow.I have wanted to try the black and white for a while after seeing so many stunning cards,then a few cards i had seen had one or two things coloured and they were stunning.So hopefully she will like it,

I added stickles to her balloon,hairband and frill of her dress.
I used my cricut to cut the corner and the 2 flowers although you can`t really see them properly.
The patterned paper is from paper cellar,Lace butterfly is from wild orchid crafts.Black strip of flowers i think are papermania,gems are from stash.
Challenges:-
TOMIC:-Sketch + use fabric.(butterfly)I turned the sketch round,i hope that it still counts?
Totallypapercrafts;-Make your own flowers.(sorry you can`t see them clearly!)

Tilda exploding box.

Morning all,hope you are having a great weekend so far?
I have another box to show you.This one is for a 1st birthday and was asked to do pink.

The images are Magnolia,coloured with prisma`s.
The flowers are wild orchid craft.
Most of the lid decorations,frame leaves etc are done using my cricut.
The cake has been done the same as the other box i did.
Sentiments are computer generated.This was what the lady wanted to be put on the box.
I used a MS punch for the sides of the lid.And also for the small butterflies.
Challenges entering into are:-

Happy Saturday to you all.
It`s miserable here,hopefully it will stop raining cause cause were doing fireworks later.
Todays card i had used a sketch from everybody-art challenge and as per usual i`ve missed it!!

Papers are a mix of fizzy moon and papermania.
Flowers are wild orchid craft.(and lace butterfly)
Leaves:-Crealies die.
Butterflies:-Small one was a MS punch,large i used my new cricut cartridge.
Tag,swirls,and bottom shape the tag is on was done using my cricut.
Tilda was coloured with prisma`s.
Gems and pearls are from my stash.

Teddy Bea Exploding box.

Evening all,yes it`s been a while once again i know.I`ve been busy getting some of these boxes ready for my sister to collect when she came down to visit.As all orders i get,i do worry that the people will like them!
I am pleased with the end result and i did spend ages deciding what to put on them,as i have a new cricut cartridge that i so LOVE!!!!!My poor machine has been stuck in the cupboard for about a year!!!!Poor thing,now i can`t get enough of it!!!
That`s Angela`s fault.......I`m only joking.Angela is the kindest lady.I emailed her a question about the cartridge and she went out of her way to order it for me and post it from the US for me.She put the cutetest card in their and some goodies,so a huge thanks to you!!!!!!
Ok onto the box.

The lady had give me these 4 photos she wanted to include,so i scanned them and scaled them to size.
The cute images are teddybea(isn`t she gorgeous).It was a rush to take the photo`s because my sister was leaving,and i wish i`d taken a close up,never mind!
All the embellies on the lid are all from my new cartridge!!!!!
I used a MS punch on the edges,pearls are from my stash.
The cake template is arty farty one,using the top and middle cakes.Then ran it through my cuttlebug with the swirl embossing plate.

Shabby chic teddybo attempt!!!

Well good evening to all.We were lucky to have another scorching day,can`t complain as apart from tomorrow looks like it`s down hill from there!!!
I`ve had ago at the challenge set over at teddybo`s top tips Thursday which was shabby chic.

They have done a fab tutorial,so i hope i`ve pulled it off,any comment's would be appreciated!!!

I love this image,it is from the three tags,which is where i got Teddybea from on the post it note holder.

I have followed the sketch from sketch Saturday, used papers from Ella blue and matted them onto some Kraft cardstock then painted them all with crackle paint.I have used a deep edge punch from MS.Added a few pearls from stash,Flower from WOC,leaves are Crealies and swirl a Marianne die.Sentiment is from Fizzy Moon.The image was coloured with Prisma pencils.

Happy Thursday to you all.Today see`s a new challenge over at CRAFT today.
I would like to say a big thank you to Jo and the team for having me,it`s been great.
Today`s challenge is a photo inspiration one.

We have 2 sponsors,Truly madly crafty and floppy latte designs,of which i have used an image from them called Top hat for a lady.

Although i did use purple on the flowers on her hat they look pinky in this photo!
With such an array of colours i thought i would use the colours in the flowers and keep the main card plain.
I used my hougie board to to the embossed lines,added the flowers all from wild orchid crafts and the pearls are from Joanna sheen(i think the make was gort?)Anyway they come in a container with lots of different colours.I added glossy accents to the image to make it stand out more,but you can`t really tell on this photo.
Ok that`s it from me,please pop over and join us this week,these colours would make a great Halloween card too!Look forward to seeing your creations.

Happy Wednesday,
I do hope you have some great weather where you are,it`s been lovely to have the sun out and feel warm.Who would think we are at the end of September!!!It`s suppose to be getting hotter every day upto the weekend.Sam`s off Thursday and Friday due to teacher training,so i said i`d put the pool back up for him.
Ok i have a card/post it holder i started to make a while ago.Now is it just me who can go through writing down all the challenges,then by the time i get the card done i`ve missed them all!Well this is one of them although luckily it does fit another challenge.

I made this for my Daughter and the image is from teddy bo and is one of 3 tags which i just made bigger.I have coloured her with prisma`s and they have a great tutorial colouring these cuties with prisma`s and promarkers on their blog here.

The letters are done with tim holtz vintage market die,swirls are Marianne Design dies,butterflies are MS punches and the card and paper was just from my stash.

Happy Thursday all,hope your all well.
Today see`s a new challenge over at C.R.A.F.T. Jo asked if i`d like to be a GDT so now not so pushed with everything,said yes.
We have a recipe for you this week,which is 1 circle,2 ribbons and 3 squares.

Cheerleader Tilda!

Morning all,hope you all had a great weekend?

Today`s card is one i made for my Daughters friend.Using cheerleader Tilda.

I knew i wanted to have ago at making her pom pom`s 3d and are pleased it worked,abit fiddly but i got there in the end.

I made a bit of a booboo with the banners.It wasn`t till it was finished i realized they wouldn`t actually hang like that,but hey never mind,too late now!The pom pom`s i used tissue paper folded over a few times then snipped into it, then rolled it up and played about with it till i had what i was looking for.

Teacher gift No:2

Hi guy`s hope your having a good weekend so far?
I just want to say a HUGE thank you to Mandy.She has totally made my weekend by finding this tutorial i was looking for!The funny thing was,after having a look at the other tutorials on there,there was the cake one that i had seen on Mandy`s blog which i had also saved.I wanted to do it for Danielle but never had the time in the end.So now i know that that was how i found it in the first place!
Another Teacher gift to show you.This time i made it to fit a chocolate bar,yummy!
This for for the teacher assistant,but he just wrote teacher on the inside and there was no way i was going to tell him you should of wrote assistant or he would of got upset and scribbled it out!As he wrote it on the last day of school(i know it was a rush job)there wouldn`t of been time to do another!
Anyway,she loved it so everyone`s a winner!

I have to apologise for the photo angle but i was in a rush to take the photo then get to school.
The image is Fizzy moon and i hand wrote the message.The dotty paper is first edition,love letters and the card i used to make it was from Papermania.The buttons were from my stash.

This is exactly the same as the other one i did,i just didn`t open the front and take a picture.

Wedding exploding box.

Happy Saturday to you all.It has been lovely here today,hope the sun is shining where you are?
Today i want to show you a box i made for a commission.I do worry about making things for other people,but after the 2 i`ve just done i now have another 4 to make,yikes!
This is it all closed up.I have to say i love these stamps,my new favourite right now as i have all these wedding boxes to do.I have stamped it with versamark and applied gold embossing powder.

All opened up!Again i have used the stamps from the set and embossed them,the names are computer generated.The cake i embossed with the swirl cuttlebug folder+ added gems.I applied the string pearls with my glue gun.The rose is from wild orchid crafts with glitter added to it.

A close up!The butterflies are from martha stewart punches.

Challenges:-

fizzy moon teacher gift.

Good afternoon,hope your all well.The sun was shining this morning,but now it`s turned cloudy! Just a quick post from me today,a gift that Sam gave to his teacher.
I was really pleased how it turned out and was really easy.It was the first time of doing it and will definitely be doing them again.

The card i used to make it was from Papermania card pack.Image was Fizzy moon,coloured with Prisma`s.
DP is Ella blue,which was the best bargain from Dunn Elm Mill.A 12x12 pad and 6x6 pad in a bag half price.Buttons are from my stash.

The inside was kept very plain just added the buttons.That way there was plenty of room for Sam to write his message

This slider i did to fit this note book and pen.The pen i just hooked onto the side,you can see the charm that was attached to the pen.(these were a bargain too.I picked them up from Clinton cards when i got last years gifts.I got them the week they were due to break up and they had the whole range at half price!).I think i found the tutorial on either splitcoast stampers or you tube.I did save it but if you have read an earlier post you will know i ended up with a new hard drive and lost everything!

Wedding card and present

Hi back today to show you what i made for Sam`s teacher,who got married a couple of weeks ago now,
6 of the parents clubbed together and bought her some things they could take to their beach hut they had just brought.I was originally going to do a towel cake,but the teacher assistant said it would be nice to get them something for the hut as that`s what they want to do up.So we got a platter to put it all on,2 glasses,plates,bowls,a small box of chocolates a mini bottle of wine,some tea-lights for the lantern sat on the top.All wrapped with a couple of beach towels and face cloths for the sand!

I found a few shells in my box of embellishments that were perfect.The leaf ribbon was from cuddly buddly and all the flowers from wild orchid crafts.The lantern i got from Dunelm mill which i thought was beautiful.
If i had of found a beach hut that would of been brilliant,but this works just fine.

Hi guy`s,i got the laptop back and yes it did need a new hard drive again!!
I really need your help.....................
I had a tutorial on my computer of how to do a countdown to Christmas.You stamp the the date(1st 2nd etc) on a circle and this is shown in one small hole made in the paper.You have a scalloped circle which you turn each day to change the date. Am i making sense?
I`m so annoyed i didn`t save it,i really wanted to make one each for the kids and actually wanted to get started on it,as i left everything to the last minute last year and didn`t get half what i wanted done.This year seems to be flying.
I have tried on you tube,splitcoast stampers,but if you don`t get the right words it will not bring it up.
If anyone out there can help i would be most grateful.
I don`t have many followers so if there is any chance you could mention it on your blog so i could get more people to help that would be amazing,thank you.
I will be back later tonight or tomorrow to show you some crafty things once i`ve put the stuff all back on the computer.

laptop`s broken again!!!!!

Hi Guy`s,just wanted to let you know the laptop is once again broken!!!ARHHHHHH.
I have resorted to Danielle`s to do this brief post.It will be picked up tomorrow and i wont get it back till the 8th August!!!I have actually made lots of things to show you too,typical hey!
I can`t go through the hassel of loading on the disc`s for the photo`s to go on Dan`s pc etc so i will have loads to show you when i get it back.Looks like it`s the hard drive again even though we only replaced it last year.

A little box!

Good evening all,i was going to post this little box i quickly made the other day,but the laptop decided to be a funny you know what so couldn`t.I can say my heart sank when it wouldn`t turn on properly and kept saying unread disc.....
But here i am and here it is............................WARNING picture overload!!!

I couldn`t resist using this sweet Tilda,coloured with Prisma`s.I used flowers from WOC,marianne D die.

Front view,yep correct it was for a little girl called Charlotte,boy did i sit for ages trying to fit her name on this box to how i liked it.So i had to settle for it like this in the end.I had some tulle i wrapped round,which i got from Tab when she had her shop.

Side view:-Marianne d swirl die,MS butterfly punch and WOC flowers.

Other side view:-Bigger swirls from the set and another butterfly.

Open view:-If i had the time i would of liked to have lined it.Box was from the range,about £1.49.

I bought her a little princess set to go inside.The box is small so couldn`t get alot in it.I painted it with crackle paint and distressed it with worn lipstick.Gems and pearls were from my stash.I sprayed it with glimmer mist and added stickles everywhere!

A big hello!!!!

Hi guy`s,sorry for the long absence.I have been blog hopping and have tried to leave comments when i can,although on some occasions i did have to give up as blogger wasn`t playing nicely!
I have finished my course,well i`ve answered the last few gaps and handed over my folder, so fingers crossed it will all be ok and i will be a qualified level 3 in my pre-school setting. yippee!
Now with just a few weeks left of this term,we are all now trying to get all the children's folders finished ready for them leaving and going to school.So it will still be a busy time for me.I can`t believe where the time has gone,i have been able to make a few things in the last couple of months.I hope to make much more soon as i have missed it alot.Alot of projects on my list,which are all needing to be done for July,so i need to get my finger out.I have to admit i do spend more time on this computer than actually making cards which is naughty!But i do love looking at all your fab cards.Also window shopping and drooling over the lovely new stuff that`s come out!I did have a spending spree..............ssshhhhh don`t tell the other half!
My Magnolia summer kit turned up the other day,i love it.I got cheerleader Tilda, space Tilda, Super hero Edwin, footballer Edwin, tennis Edwin,And the cutest mini nurse Tilda!and some others.
I`m working on the footballer Edwin as my son loves his football.The only problem i have is the colours to do as he likes so many different teams!!I`ve got his birthday first then 2 weeks later i have Danielle`s.As well as about 3 or 4 of her friends in July too,so busy busy busy.
Right enough waffle here`s one of the wedding cards i was asked to make for my SIL.

DDCC-DT card,crackled glass.

Happy Thursday to you all and today is Team B`s challenge over at DDCC which this week is Crackled Glass.
Instead of doing the image i decided to try the butterfly on the card instead.

The papers i used are Papermania capsule pad,blueberry pie.Funny how this pad was more expensive than the other colour pads,must of seen me coming! The image is Magnolia,isn`t she sweet.

This is a close up of the butterfly.Now i have used normal embossing powder as i didn`t have any ultra thick.It has still done the job but i just had to apply the versamark + powder more times than the thicker stuff.I distressed all the edges with my scissors,used a alterations scroll die,nesties for the circle and a Marianne D butterfly die.Pearls are from Joanna sheen and the flowers are a mix from wild orchid craft and the fizzy moon collection.Seam binding also from WOC.The sentiment was also in my stash and i added glitter to Tilda`s flowers and hair ribbon and also on the other flowers around the edge.

Easter gift #2

Good morning all,it is a lovely bright start to the day here and you can feel the warmth of the sun already which is good start.
Today i have the other teacher gift for my sons teacher.You know when they have such a lovely teacher you want to give them something special.Well i hope i managed it with this gift.

This is the same layout as the first gift but used different papers which are from first edition,love letters.Flowers and dies the same,wild orchid craft and Marianne creatables.Image again using magnolia and coloured with promarkers.Just noticed i didn`t mention the leaves are from a crealies die.

Well good morning to you all and here in the the UK the weather is gorgeous and suppose to stay that way(hopefully!)My mum`s in Spain and she said she wished she had taken a coat and it was raining!

Ok today i want to show you something i did for Sam to give to his Teacher and 1 for the teaching assistant.That one i`ll save for tomorrow.

I got the idea from other people doing them to put tea-lights in the box.So i just worked out the measurements to fit the bunny and egg and there you have it.I didn`t really know what to put in the little space to the left of the box,so put a small bunch of flowers from wild orchid craft and a butterfly from a Marianne creatables die.Papers are back to basics from Dovecraft.The flourishes are also Marianne C.
Image is of course Magnolia,coloured with promarkers.I also added glitter to the tulips but you can`t tell on this photo.

Thought i`d leave you with a quick snap of Maddie.This was when she was only 5weeks old,bless her.I`ve still tried to upload the picture from yesterdays post but still no luck.Is it just me or does anyone else have that trouble?For those who don`t know what i`m going on about,i took a picture uploaded it to my pictures in the computer.Because i turned the camera round the photo was in the gallery on it`s side.So i turned it to the right angle which it saved + now always shows the right way,but when i try to load it on my blog it always comes through on it`s side.Highly annoying considering the first photo i put on there worked just fine!

I`ll figure it out when she`s probably reached a year!

A new addition to our family!!

May i introduce you all to Maddie..............................

This is Danielle and Sam holding her not that long after we brought her home. Maddie is a cockerpoo and will be 8 weeks old tomorrow.She looks quite big in this picture,but is the opposite in this next one.......Which i`ve tried 4 times and it keeps loading how i took it which is on it`s side but i`ve already turned it the right way and saved it in my pictures.Now the one above worked fine,but the one i wanted is being stubborn so will try i sort it so i can show you.So we have one of her feeling very at home in her little bed,fast asleep...........................

She slept like this for ages bless her!
I will no doubt be posting some more pictures of her,so now of to work out how to make the photo`s appear on here as they are in my picture gallery on my computer.

Back again this time with my card for Simply creates new challenge.
This week we would like to see Monochromatic.

Are yes it`s another Fizzy moon.I decided on going for browns.The papers are MME,the flowers again wild orchid craft,the leaves are from a Crealies die,and the ribbon from my stash.This is the only Fizzy moon that i got,but was very tempted with the others believe me.But i was good and put them back.I have to be very good,as we have bought something earlier than we thought so we have to save all our pennies.But i can say she is worth every penny!!!!I can`t show any pictures now but will in a few more weeks,i`m sooooo excited.

Hi all,i`m late posting this.The new challenge started yesterday,but i didn`t feel too well yesterday.I thought i`d post it when i came home from work but you guessed it i didn`t so here it is.
This weeks challenge is a photo inspiration one and i just love the colours.

A hand made flower!

Hi folks,i have actually managed to try making a flower out of some lace i bought from wild orchid crafts.A bit big,but i like it.

The image is from LOTV,and she is coloured with promarkers.I also added lots of glitter but it really doesn`t show!I have used my nesties for the circles,Marianne design for the swirls.

The inside is the same layout as the front just added a butterfly instead of a bow and die cut flowers in place of the ribbon one.

Good morning to you all,I`ve got another Tilda for you.Sorry!

Today i`ve followed the theme over at Simon says stamp,which is coffee and cream.
Ok,the front i cut an aperture out,stuck some DP behind cut into it and brought them through to the front.Did it again to get the smaller flaps.The bigger flaps are attached with small brads and the smaller ones i put foam pads underneath and added some gems to the corners,The stamp is a Stempleglede grunge stamp and i heat embossed with gold.I added some pearls also.

The inside.I added a butterfly from Marianne creatables die,adding a few pearls.Cut out a scalloped circle from my nestie for the aperture.I used a MS punch around the page butterfly punch on the matt around the image.Another Stempleglede grunge stamp around Tilda.She is coloured with Promarkers,and added glitter to everything.

This is a Marianne creatables new tag die.I used foam pads top and bottom on the image so there was a gap in the middle to tuck the tag in,which your message can be added.I added pearl drops to the centre of each butterfly.

DDCC DT card,another new Tilda.Magnolia stamp kit`s here!!!

Hi guy`s happy thursday to you all.
Today see`s a new challenge at Dutch Dare and this week it`s team B,with a sketch.
Kelly is sponsoring this week with a goodie bag from,close to the heart.

This is my take on the sketch.

A close up.I thought i`d try out the twisted easel card.I`ve kinda taken over the whole sketch using my new die,but so wanted to use it,hope you can still see the sketch!!!

Ok i`ve used my new Tilda,i`m so loving the new stamps.I`ve coloured her with promarkers.I`ve distressed the edges of all the papers with faded jeans distress ink.I then got a stamp from sir stampalot in the sale,a rose and stamped this around the edge of the image.I have raised the image with foam pads and layered it over my new Marianne creatable die.I was naughty and bought 3 new ones.I`ve used 2 on this card.The round die and the tags .The big flower near the image i made from cream seam binding and died it with faded jeans distress inks.Attempted to gather it together and stitched the middle,added some pearls and a gem to the middle.I think it`s ok for the 1st attempt anyway.Papers are from LOTV,which i have had for a few years now.Flowers are from WOC,as is the seam binding.Sprayed it all with glimmer mist.

WOW,i have to say i ordered 2 Magnolia`s from Sir stampalot yesterday and they arrived today wooohoooo!!!!!So i made on a start on my card and finished it off after tea.so here she is..........

How cute is she.Linds sorry if your freaking out with the butterfly on her hand!!!!!!LOL.

This is a close up of the flowers,i made the big white one using the small scalloped nestie.Scrunching about 4 of them then attaching together with a brad.I did take a close up of Tilda,but i`ve now given up.I turned the camera round to take the shot and although i`ve rotated it on the files and it saved it,every time i`ve tried to download it on to here it`s still on it`s side.So sorry but after 4 attempts i`m not trying anymore.The annoying thing is i`ve managed to get it the right way before but don`t no how!!!Never mind.
Papers used are i think it`s called back to basics by papermania,but there downstairs and i`m being lazy,so i`ve taken a guess.Flowers are wild orchid.Leaf die are from crealies.I used my MS butterfly corner punch.Coloured Tilda with promarkers and glitz it all with glimmer mist.Swirls are Marrianne creatables.Ribbon and pearls are from my stash.

Ok,i knew it was to good to be true.I had got this post done on Thursday to go out Friday morning.I was so pleased with myself too!Only to find,when i looked on the computer tonight it didnt do it.So now i`m late,typical!!!I must of done something wrong,obviously.I did put the time,clicked on scheduled.Never mind.So yesterday saw a new challenge over at Simply create.We are looking for Bright and Bold.

She is coloured with promarkers and i glittered her wings.I have to apologise for the picture.I haven`t had time to finish them before work,so the photo`s are taken in the evening.I have to say that the bulbs we have in the dining room aren`t the brightest.I have made a promise to myself to get more organised.Actually i seemed to remember that i always say that and i still haven`t!!!
Ok flowers are wild orchid craft,I`ve used a nellie snellen die for the image.I have a new die,from Joanna sheen.They are called crealies,they have lots of different styles.I`ve been after a leaf punch for ages,but to get different sizes can work out expensive.Well these sorted that out.It cost £9.99 and you got 3 different sizes of the 2 style of leaf,how cool is that and it comes as 1 strip,so no punches to try and hide from hubby hey!!!!

Evening all,today see`s a new challenge over at Dutch Dare.The theme this week is Love is in the air.Or you can use the colours red/white/pink.

I did say i would be back,so here i am.
Today see`s Simply create`s new challenge,which is Punches.We all have some of those.So get them out,flower,border,corner,leaf punches etc,you can use your nesties and die cuts too! and join in with our challenge.
So my card is for Simply create as i`ve used some punches,but also for DDCC.As we have 2 sponsors for DDCC,i didn`t get 2 cards done in time,so have combined the 2 challenges once again.

I have to apologise as i had to add some faux stitching to the card,so on the simply create blog it will show it without.I`m not having a good start to the new year am i!!!Seeing as the whole point of the DDCC challenge is stitching i go and forget doh!
I have used my MS edger punch and also the leaves were punched with a Woodware one.
The gorgeous image is from Sassy Design Studio`s,which the DT over at DDCC got the chance to play with.I have cut her out using(my minds gone blank) either Nellie snellen or Marrianne creatable.I`m upstairs and all the stuff is downstairs and i am tired and need to get this done.I distressed the edges with tattered rose.Flowers are from wild orchid craft,paper is MME.

Hi guy`s,1 card for 2 challenges.I know new year and still behind posting!It would of been fine if my computer hadn`t of switched off half way through doing it!!So better late than never i suppose,will try harder i promise.
It`s the start of CRAFT`s challenge which is moving components.
We are sponsored by Hope Jacare and you can choose 3 digi stamps of your choice,brilliant.
My card is using the beautiful image from the stamping boutique.

My moving component is the butterfly which is from my stash,suspended on invisable thread.
The image is by one of our sponsors at DDCC The stamping boutique which is called The fairies frolic.She is gorgeous.I printed her out a couple of times.1 image for the inside and i cut up one for the flowers at the top and the beautiful fairy.Coloured her with promarkers and added glitter everywhere.The paper is by Prima called flora.
DDCC want to see real or faux stitching.That was fun.I did the outside decided to do a different stitch on the inside to get half way round and the bobbin ran out of thread.Now i have the instructions but could i find them?Not on your Nellie.So did all the holes but without thread!!!

Here`s my take on this fab sketch.But i do have to say i did do 2 cards.You know when you do 1 but you just don`t like it,so i did the other option which i do prefer.This is the 2nd option.

This is a close up.I adore this image it`s so cute.I spritzed all the paper and image with dazzling diamonds glitter mist.It just shows in the close up picture.

The green does match the stems of the flowers ,but looks abit garish in this photo.I tried to add the blue and yellow into it using the roses,but i think thats whats putting me of.I think if i change them to pinks and creams it might look better.Seeing as Hubby is back at work today,i went to the range and picked up some pastel papers,which i have to say would of looked alot better.Enough waffling,please check out the work of my fellow DT`s.I look forward to seeing what you create.I`m off to make a cuppa,before starting on some more cards,take care and sorry for the long post.Actually for you guy`s whizzing through it,it won`t take you long.But it takes me an absolute age to do my post`s.Will i ever get quicker!!!

Simpledoodles#34 DT card Embossing.

Happy Friday,Friday already can you believe it.I know the kids can`t cause they go back next week.Dan`s on Tuesday and Sam`s on Wednesday,which he thinks is really cool cause he has an extra day off!
Today see`s a new challenge over at Simpledoodles.We would like to see your embossing.So for my card i did abit of dry and heat embossing,but on the photo you can`t see the heat embossing!

The sketch i have used the sketch from the sugar bowl, they also have an added theme of embossing,which i`m entering this card into.The image is Daisy,a sugar Nellie stamp.I`ve cut out and embossed the oval,from nellie snellen.I`ve added perfect pearls around the edge.Papers are from the Prima Flora pad,very beautiful.The swirls and little flowers on the paper at the bottom is where i heat embossed.I used my versamark pen then added Kaleidoscope EP to it.It looks really glittery,but the picture doesn`t pick it up. The panel behind i ran through my Cuttlebug.I used co-ordinations white wash cardstock,then i went over the embossed bit with my nail file to expose the pink. The small butterflies were from my MS edge punch.I just cut them out,added some glitter and stuck them on.
The daisy ribbon,shiny butterflies and hearts were from my stash.

This is a close up of Daisy.I was really annoyed as when i was distressing the edges,i got specs of ink on the image.Don`t you just hate it when that happens.Hopefully i can get away with it.

DDCC DT card,New beginnings.

Evening to all of you,hope you all had a lovely Christmas?We certainly did,can`t actually believe it`s over now!
Ok today see`s a new challenge over at DutchDare,we have a theme of New Beginnings.So let`s see all your New baby,wedding,new home etc.
Ok here`s my DT card.

I`ve used my House mouse stamp,coloured with promarkers.Cut him out with my nestie and stamped around the edge with the stempelglede grunge stamp,embossed with white EP and distressed with tumbled glass ink.
Papers were from papermania,gems, flower, ribbon were from stash.Flourishes were Marianne d .
I also made a Nappy cake a friend asked me to make to give to her friend.

This is the front view.
Made with alot of nappies that i`ve wrapped with a blanket and Muslin cloth`s.

This is the back view.

I added some socks to the back.

As promised,here is the drawer box i made for Sam`s teacher.I followed instructions from splitcoast stampers and did have to change measurements to fit the things i had bought for her.I have to say i`ve wanted to make one for a while and as she is such a lovely teacher,i wanted to give her something special.

I was pleased as this is my first one.I used my new Edwin stamp and cut him out and placed him on the Fleur de lis spellbinders die.Papers are papermania,swirls are Marianne creatables.Flowers are from my stash.

This is a close up.It`s quite dark the photo,need a new camera i think.

Simple doodles #33 Tag it.

Back again with a new challenge over at Simpledoodles.This time the challenge is Tag it.We are lucky to be sponsored by Robyns fetish.
The design team were lucky to have some images to use and they are lovely.

I coloured his hat and bird house with promarkers,added fun flock again to his hat an the usual glitter.I embossed some dots around him to look like snow falling,cut the image out with my nestie and mounted him onto the red card,this time using a scalloped one.

DutchDare challenge DT card.

Happy Saturday everyone.As this seems to be a habit i`m late posting this AGAIN!But now school has finished i`m of now till January,presents for Dan`s friends and teacher`s have been bought and given out.So now i think i can relax and not be rushing here there and everywhere.
So onto this fortnight`s challenge,over at Dutch Dare we want to see your Winter creations.We are sponsored by the wonderful Meljen`s designs and the chosen winner can pick 4 images of there choice.The design team had some gorgeous images to pick from and i chose 2.

How cute are these images.I coloured them with Promarkers,added some flock onto their hats and of course some glitter.Paper is from Papermania,i used a ms punch on the border and corners of the image.Gems and ribbon are from stash.

Simple doodles + Dutch Dare DT cards.

Good morning to you all,hope all those of you in the UK are keeping ok in this snow! 2nd year running we get the bad snow and it causes havoc!At least the kids are happy they don`t have to go to school.
This week over at Dutch Dare our wonderful sponsor is Suzette from Crafty Sentiments.
She has so kindly provided the cute snowman couple and snowman that you can find on some of the DT cards,these are the images one lucky person can win.So what's our challenge you ask...we would love to see your Christmas (winter is just fine as well) themed tags, ornaments or cards!

Here i have used the very cute couple and cut them out using the Magnolia tag die.I then cut out 2 Marrianne creatables doily die,using 2 different papers,cut them in half and stuck 1 of each together.Done the same with the other 2 halves and laid them overlapping each other.Added some glitter all around the edges.Distressed the edges with worn lipstick and faded jeans,tore the top corner and added some of the paper i used for the doily.Stuck on some snowflakes and some gems and there you have it!Please come and join us and take a look at what my fellow DT`s have made.

This is also for Dutch Dare but also for Simple Doodles.This week we have a Photo inspiration for you.Please check out the photo at Simple doodles,it`s beautiful.Unfortunately when i tried to put it on here it was tiny and you couldn`t really see it clearly.I have chosen to do an ornament,i had seen this on splitcoast stampers and wanted to give it ago.The paper is a download from crafty sentiment,which i printed onto pearlised paper.I have put a piece of it next to it so you can see it better.I used the fleur de lis pendant from spellbinders,gems brads and ribbon was from my stash.

Here i added it to the Christmas tree we put up yesterday.Normally i tend to do it the first weekend of December,but as i and the kids were off decided to do it then.They have yet to decorate it,as it was getting late.I had already put the big tree up,but as we had moved around it was far too big so i had to go up in the loft and get the slim one down!

Thought i`d show you my stamp which i bought,when i won a voucher to spend at Bunnyzoes.It stamps so well,i love it.yo can have what you want put on it, and Nikki is so lovely she will double check what you want and even sends you an email of what it will look like.Brilliant.

DT`s card For Dutch Dare and Simple Doodles.

Good afternoon,i had started this ,this morning but with 2 children to sort out for school,it didn`t quite work.It is children in need day which means non uniform!!!Sam was awake at 4.20AM!!!deciding on what he was going to wear.He didn`t get out of bed bless him till 6.14 as he quite rightly told me he`s not allowed till after six,this doesn`t help when he didn`t go back to sleep and kept talking to me and getting up to look at the clock for the whole 2hrs!!!His school had chosen to raise money by wearing your pyjama`s to school.Sam hates the idea of dressing up,when it`s a non-uniform day, he get`s so worried.So he was in normal jeans and his football top.Danielle being a girl!!!decides to put her nail varnish on at 7.50,when she leaves the house at 8.05 to meet her friend and she hadn`t even had any breakfast.So this post got stopped and there you have it..... Does anyone know what is happening to the weeks....Where do they go?I have had so much to do and the time is whizzing that i can`t keep up.On Monday we are starting to do the christmas folders at school,how scary is that.Enough babbling.
So i have 1 card for 2 DT posts.I have been asked by the lovely Kelly to stay on at DutchDare,which of course i agreed and also got a place on the Simple Doodles DT too,how exciting!!!!

Halloween treats.

Good evening folks,can you believe it`s Wednesday tomorrow already.That is super scary!!.The time is flying.Halloween over out come xmas decs in the shops.After half term,we got the planning list for this term.Only 7 weeks including this week left before we break up,WOW,where has the year gone.
Well hope you had a good Halloween.We had a busy weekend.Poor old hubby got his birthday hijacked by a Halloween party.I wanted to do one for Sam,he invited 3 friends(that`s all i wanted,boys are so much more of a handful than girls!)2 of the boy`s were brother`s.On the Saturday lunchtime though i get a call to say one of the brother`s wasn`t well and she didn`t think it fair for the poorly one to stay at home and the other one come,so neither came.Never mind,his other friend came and his little sister was all dressed up so i asked if she wanted to stay,which she did.Then my niece and nephew popped round,my brother and sis in law also in tow was my mum and dad followed by my sister and brother in law.So all in all we had a house full.Sunday Danielle went with her friends trick or treating,so bought a face painting kit, i had a search on google for some ideas and made her up.She liked it but i said i would have to practise some more.It always looks so easy when you watch someone do it.I`m so impatient.I get something into my head and then get annoyed with myself cause i can`t do it!!!Anyone else like that PLEASE say yes.
Ok,these little frankie boxes are sooooo easy to make i surprised myself.They were so fun to do too.I got the idea from splitcoaststampers yet again,from this lady`s blog http://mycraftpaperscissors.blogspot.com/

She includes all measurements too.I wanted to do some for the girls too,so made some eyelashes by snipping into some black left over card stock and adding a flower.The little sister that came to the party,hers had a little pink bow instead of the flower,i didn`t take a picture of that one.

Good evening all,hope you are all fine and dandy?
Ok,why is it that whenever you have an idea on a card that you know would look great,never comes out the way you want it too?

I decided to use a flowersoft stamp i`ve had for ages and never used.I got in abit of a pickle stamping the foliage around it,then got worried if the flowersoft looked ok.Whenever you see cards with it on they look really good,and some how i get abit dissapointed with mine.Any how it`s done.

The sentiment,i think you can just about make out the glitter.Below using my new tag and using this idea given by Bev and Rach.Brilliant ladies,i love it.

The picture frame i have added was a panel of the window,i just drew lines as if it were hung up,then i just wrote home sweet home on it.I couldn`t put acetate on the window because i had cut it in half,it didn`t leave enough room for it to stick it down.I added glitter to the flowers,tilda`s bow and around the sentiment also on the butterflies but don`t think it hardly shows at all,typical.

1st Birthday card

Happy saturday to you all.

Today i have done a card i`ve never done before.It was a friends little girl`s birthday and yep you guessed by the title she`s 1!So i wanted to do a card in the shape of a 1.I did this just freehand so i hope it looks ok.
I have used papermania paper and distressed the edges with my scissors then went over them with victorian velvet distress ink,then added glitter.I used the gorgeous Tilda coloured her with promarkers and added glitter to her wishes she`s blowing.The butterflies are punched with my MS punch and again glittered and i used peel offs for her name.The flowers are again papermania from the Henbury Lane collection and jewel brads are Dovecraft.
Challenges:-

Tilda Halloween.

Hey,i`m like a bus,Don`t see any for ages then all of a sudden 2 come at the same time...LOL!!

I got this Tilda with Edwin,she is soo cute.
The sketch is from sketch saturday.I have used my new Nellie snellen die cuts(forgive me if i`ve got the name wrong but i can`t get to the packet to check)I`ve used the Graphicus halloween stamp set again and distressed the oval with distress inks.I used the fence punch again by MS and added the little sign which i hand wrote beware on it.i actually stamped out a plank from the magnolia fence,cut it out and coloured it with my promarkers.Added abit of chain to make it look like a sign.I cut out the bats and embossed them with clear EP.The gems are just from stash.The sentiment at the bottom was from my computer.

Ok,i`m ashamed it`s been so long without a card.And i`m late doing this post as the new challenge started yesterday.So without further delay, here`s my Halloween compilation.

Ok,so we`re having a Halloween theme or if you like you can use the colour combo of,Black,Orange,Purple + Green,over at Dutch dare.
We are sponsored this fortnight by the fabulous Simon says stamp.They are giving the lucky winner a $10 gift certificate to spend.So why not pop over and check out all the other DT`s fab work and join in.I can`t show you a close up of the mummies as they were taken to school today for his teachers.I got the idea from splitcoaststampers site.I told you i had been looking on there for halloween stuff.
I bought 2 bars of chocolate,wrapped round some cream card first,then with more cream card ripped it into strips.Distressed the edges with old paper distress ink then wrapped them round.Where the eyes are i put some black card and stuck on some googly eyes.The chocolate slides out the top or bottom when ready to be eaten.

This is one of the gift bags i decorated.I have used the cuttlebug embossing folder and cut it out.Layered it on a large yellow piece of card distressed with black soot and added abit of chalk to highlight the windows.I have stamped the bats from my graphicus halloween set,added a fence punched with a MS deep edger punch.Then stamped and cut out Mummy Edwin,how cute is he!!
The pumpkin is also from the Graphicus set
The house on the large sun was from this ladies blog A crafty journey So i hope she dosen`t mind me using the same idea.I love the big moon behind the house.

DDCC GD card.

Hi guy`s how have you all been?Sorry i haven`t posted for a while but been busy trying to get my course work done.When i have had spare time i seem to spend it looking at everyone`s blog`s.Boy i could sit there all night,the time just whizzes by.Anyway so much so this post is late.I was suppose to have done it before i went to work,but as usual it didn`t work out like that,sorry.
Ok,so this fortnight`s challenge over at dutch dare is Tagalicious.We want to see your tags,whether it be on a card or on a project.The DT have done a fab job,please go over and check out there work.
I thought i`d made a bit of a boo boo.I had made a tag and put it on a bag i had decorated for halloween.Paniked cause it said for a card,but turns out i`d of been fine with it after all,never mind.

So i have pictures of it used on the bag first,then took of and put on a card.You will have to excuse the photo`s of the card as it was done late and i couldn`t get the right light.

The bag i got from the lovely Debbie,i still haven`t forgotten about you mate.I promise!
The stamps are by elusive images at graphicus.(super quick delivery too!!)I have searched for halloween stamps and been going through the gallery at split coast stampers.Which have some pretty cool cards.Alot of which there stamps were from stampin up,which they don`t do any more.Typical!! Over 500 pages!!Now you can see why i haven`t been about hey!!
The pumkins were coloured with promarkers and i had a good old inking session with the distress inks.I used scattered straw,wild honey and black soot and just mixed them all and this was the result.The same was done with the tag but i sprayed it with glimmer mist.I also stickled the bats on the tag.

See what i mean.Sorry about the photo.
The black CS was from stash,the orange was from MME,distressed with black soot.I punched the corners with my MS punch.I used another MS punch for the border in the middle.Added some organza ribbon to the tag and then stamped and cut out one of the bats.I used my just right stamp set to make up the happy halloween.As many a crafter has said.....I NEED more font`s.
Well that`s that from me.Can`t believe we are almost at the end of week 5 already(school term that is)Only 2 weeks to go and were of for a week.Not saying that i hate my job or anything but it gives me a chance to make some cards yippee!!I`ve got my brothers shortly and hubby`s` and i`m throwing a halloween party for the kids so lots of invites, bags etc to be done too.

Tilda in leaves.

Happy Sunday,or for here it`s a rainy/windy Sunday yuk!!!
Today see`s Tilda in leaves.She has been coloured up for ages and i was really pleased with it, till i got carried away distressing the edges.I was doing it with rusty hinge then a smudged her sock.I was so annoyed,especially when you hear yourself say that`s enough now and you add that little bit more!!!

So i had to cut her out and stamp another sock to cover the smudged one.Not sure i`m liking the green background though! I stamped out a few more of the leaves to put on there.She looks like she`s having loads of fun doesn`t she.

DDCC operation write home GD card.

We have an exciting new challenge over at Dutch dare.

We are joining in the birthday celebrations of operation write home.

Here's a bit more about this fantastic organization:(I copied this from Kelly!)

Operation Write Home is an organization that sends blank handmade greeting cards for all occasions to deployed service members to write home on. They’ve mailed approximately 500,000 cards so far—and are still going strong! Our challenge to you is to make cards to send to them for our nation’s heroes.

Please read the basic guidelines here; it’s important especially to remember that glitter is NOT allowed (it’s a safety hazard to our heroes), handmade cards only, and OWH needs A2 sized cards. “Operation Write Home” needs to be on the backs of your cards—it can be stamped, handwritten, or printed on labels. Please include a packing slip inside your box or envelope, and mail them to any of their shippers listed on the Mailroom page.

So,i made a christmas card.It was so hard not to put glitter on it.I tried to keep it simple,with not too many embellishments on there.

Hi guy`s happy Tuesday to you all.No card today,there will be tomorrow as i`ve got the day off woohoo!!!!
So me thinks it`s gonna be a craftin day......But sssh! don`t tell hubby that.LOL.
Well onto some exciting news..........What i hear you ask................................
Well if you love mo mannings brilliant work and you loved Dani and friends,then this might be for you.
I emailed Mo last night and asked her had she considered doing Dani and friends in a christmas theme,giving presents,wearing winter clothes etc.....She has emailed me back and said she`s sidetracked from her book deadline and done 1 of Dani and there may be others, so to keep a look out for them.How cool is that.
I thought as Danielle gives out gifts to her closest friends at xmas time, having these winter images would be perfect for their cards and labels.It`s just so fitting for her age as well.That doesn`t mean i don`t love all the oher images out there,cause believe me i do.

She is such an amazing lady,who if you have an idea will consider it and more often or not draw it up for you.She did after i had asked if she could do the back to school kids.She wanted to know where i was from so she could do the right uniform,how cool is that.1 talented lady.

Well i`m off to get a bit of shopping before i get Sam from school.It`s super hero day for the yr2 lot,so they will be full of it when they come out.Sam`s gone with his batman mask,but not his cape as it was annoying him this morning.He`s a funny one.There were some face painted all in outfits,but He gets so worried about dressing up and going to school in it.I think it`s the fact that he doesn`t want to turn up and be the only one,even though you explain it that there`s 3 classes all gonna be dressed up!
Ah well,enjoy your afternoon.

Autumn card

Happy saturday guy`s.
I have to apologise for the photo as the sun was beating through the window,creating shadows.But when i tried again later it was far too dark,so i`ve stuck to this one!
Ok image is Sugar Nellie,coloured with distress inks,and added a little glitter to her flowers.
The papers are MME,which i`ve distressed with forest moss.The leaves are made with my new x-cut punch and emboss.I put a selection of distress inks on my heat mat(which i have to say i got from poundland,it`s one of the baking sheets and it does it`s job)I used colours like rusty hinge,forest moss,peeled paint.Any of those colours,then spritzed with water.Got my card and smeared it into the ink,then when happy with the colour gave it a blast with the heat gun.Their were a few leaves when punched a little faded so just dabbed on a little more ink.The sketch is from the sugar bowl,so i cut out the circle with my nestie and lay the leaves around it.Pearls and buttons are from my stash.The little butterfly was punched from a set i got from tescos an age ago in their sale.
I have to say that i placed an order on wednesday at sir stampalot.If you have never ordered from them i can highly recommend them.They are excellent.The only trouble i had was that the postman came on thursday,i had a quick look,just letters.Got ready for work,walked out the door and what was sat in the porch but my blinkin parcel!!!!It had come already and now i didn`t have time to play cause i had to go to work!!!
So my next card will be using my new Tilda in leaves which is the main reason of getting the leaf punch.
They are so lovely at Sir Stampalot and have lots of gorgeous stuff too.

Good morning folks,hope all is well.Today see`s the pink Tilda and a larger carnation flower that i made.I didnt ink the edges to this one just coated it with glitter!!!
The floral paper is papermania,Henbury lane,which i inked the edges with worn lipstick.I used the doily die once again and behind that is a strip of butterflies using my MS punch around the page.The pearls are from the hobby house.The next card will be a different image promise!!!

Good morning guy`s.It`s a lovely day today abit windy but the sun is shining,so can`t complain.I`ve got today off woohoo!!and i`m actually suppose to be spending the day getting my course work done.My assessor is back in again on Tuesday arhh!!But couldn`t resist browsing the blogs,challenges and shops cause theres loads of stuff i want!!!!
This is my Blue Tilda and i have done her in pink also but she will be up tomorrow.
I`ve used MME papers,Marianne d die,MS punch for the small strip of blue paper.I have added pearls and gems which are from the hobby house and papermania collection.The butterfly was in my stash.I`ve inked all the edges with faded jeans distress ink.Now my flowers.......A big thankyou goes out to Mandy.When i was looking on the totally tilda blog,the dt cards are fab you should pop over and have alook.The theme this week was to make your own flowers.I was scrolling down when Mandy`s card caught my eye.It was all white with these flowers.I had to wait a little while till she posted her card on her blog,but she linked a tut site of how they were made.It`s so cool and really easy.As long as you have scallop circles punch or die a crimper(i think this is just to break all the fibres in the card) and a brad to hold them together,some card,your sorted.Have alook here,if you fancy ago!!
I`ve used just blue card and white card,inked the edges with faded jeans distress ink and covered them in glitter.I made a larger one on tomorrows pink card.I really can`t believe how easy they are to make.Thanks Mandy.Go check out mandy`s blog,it`s lovely.

Good afternoon all.Hope you have had a lovely weekend so far.We went for a walk this morning with the dog,2hrs later we came home and gave her a bath.Me,hubby and the dog were worn out but the kids are still full of energy.Sam wanted to play football,i on the other hand could of just sat down and gone to sleep!!!!
I must be getting old...LOL!!!
I made this card yesterday.I`ve had such a busy 1st week back,meeting all the new children,trying to remember all the names.I think it`s always hard getting back into the swing of things.Then on the 2nd day back,we had our assessor in.She is such a lovely lady,but i hate the thought of someone watching me and making notes.Your always scared of saying or doing it wrong.I was like that in my driving test though.I would be fine with my instructor and just go to pot when the examiner got in the car!!!
Anyway,my card is using the adorable house mouse stamps.The sketch is actually from just magnolia blog.
The papers are papermania,the flowers are from my MS punch,swirls are Marianne d.Circle was cut with my nesties and i distressed all the edges with faded jeans inkpad.Pearls are again from the hobby house and gems are from papermania in the henbury lane collection.Phew!! Have i covered it all?By Joe i think i may have!!!

Hi guy`s,hope you`ve all had a good day.
The bookmark has been done for the Dutch dare card challenge.The theme is back to school and they would like to see bookmarks.I have become their guest designer for 2 months,how cool is that.
The little rugsacks are digi images kindly offered to the DT and they are all so cute.They are from The stamping boutique,so please pop over and take alook. I thought i would do this for Sam,as he does love reading.I coloured them in with promarkers and the paper behind them are from MME.I distressed the edges with walnut stain and with my alphabet punch,punched out Sam.I have laminated it due to the fact that it will be used by Sam!!!Then i can wipe it clean and it will also be abit more sturdy.Please go over and see all the other DT`s bookmarks which are fab.Thanks again to Kelly for inviting me to GD,i`m so chuffed,sorry did i say that already!!Am i a happy bunny or what.

Good evening,Hope your enjoyed your Sunday?
We did.We took a trip into town this morning,but that was just to take some stuff back.But after that we went into the park and the kids had a round of crazy golf.They had to get this ball into what i think was suppose to be a volcano.Sam done it but Danielle,bless her,was determined she was going to get it in.I lost count on how many goes she had.So i said to hubby,you try it.Sod`s law he got it in first go,she was gutted.
Home for some lunch,after which i made my card,hubby flicked the channels between golf and football(i take it that`s multi tasking!!!) and the kids were up stairs......Danielle had painted his nails!!!(don`t ask!)and sam had done her makeup!Then before dinner, we took the dog over to the country park.It was lovely weather for it too. So onto my card.

Isn`t she just the cutest!I have coloured her with promarkers,and the papers are once again Henbury lane by papermania.The flowers are guess who?

Yep wild orchid crafts(well the roses are)The large flower + swirls are from the Marianne creatable range.I have used a Sugar nellie image.Gems are from the hobby house again.Another one of those sentiments,which i dont know who makes them,sorry.I made this an easel card,haven`t done one in a while,so i thought it would be a change.Again using all the Marianne creatable stuff,flowers, rectangle.

Only 1 challenge,which is for the sugarbowl DT call.

Happy Saturday everyone,this is a new one for me.I have seen alot of people alter things but never got round to doing it.So i thought i`d do this for my sister as when we went up to see her,she didn`t have a pad to write her lists on and kept using scraps of paper.So i have used the pink papers out of the papermania henbury lane set,distressed the edges with scissors then went over them with worn lipstick distress ink.I stamped the gorgeous image from mo and coloured her with promarkers.Now i did use pink pens but it kinda looks abit purple.Then comes another new thing,the crackled glass effect.I used a holographic EP,i hadnt watched any tutorials on this i just tried to wing it as you say!Next time i will buy some clear and do another one.I then went over it with the worn lipstick,but it didn`t take to well.I think i will see a tut just to make sure i was doing it right,this may help hey!!!
The chipboard letters were embossed with white then sanded, distressed with worn lipstick,then embossed again with the holographic.Ideally i would of wanted to use crackle paint,but i haven`t got any so i was just playing with what i did have.Flowers are from wild orchid craft and swirl from marianne creatables.Pearls and gems from the hobby house and phew is that the lot!!!I think so.

Afternoon all.Well i first want to say thanks for the comments about sam.Well the update is.......
He still cried when i left this morning!Yesterday when we got home he was full of it,liked his teacher,shoes were ok basically he had a good day.But this morning..... the shoes hurt,he didn`t want me to go......
3pm comes out of class smiling,happy boy.Typical!He did get better in year 1.But then it was the school hols for a week and we were back to square 1.So it`s going to be the same again,he`ll get the hang of it and it will get messed up with the october hols.He will get there.He`s got to really,he`s got no choice in the matter and to make it worse he`s got to stay till he`s 18!!!!No leaving at 16 for him,unless they change it.Ssh don`t tell him that!Anyway it`s friday,at least 2 days of no crying.Onto my card.
This is a real lovely image from LOTV.I can see this as danielle and our dog,missy.
The papers are K&Co Mckenna,distressed with tea dye ink pad.I punched 3 corners with my MS butterfly punch.The circle is cut using my nesties and the big flower and swirls are made from my Marianne creatables.Roses are from wild orchid crafts and pearls again from the hobby house.The lace i coloured with the tea dye distress ink and the sentiment was out of a packet of mixed ones i picked up cheap,but can`t remember who there made by,sorry.Glittered all the flowers,swirls and around the image and just anywhere really.I did get abit carried away!!

First day back!!!!!

Hi everyone.Ok who else`s household was stressed this morning with little one`s back to school.Please don`t say it was just mine!Sam went back today,but Danielle`s not till tomorrow.So that didn`t please the little chap.Well we had tears before we even left the house,over shoes,his 3 button polo top(he wanted the 2 button ones he had before summer,but i couldnt find any anywhere)So were waiting to go in,everything fine till we get`s inside, the tears start again.What else can you say to reassure them,when i have said everything i can possibly think of.He is a worrier like me,i hate to say,i wish he wasn`t for his sake.Ok,quick stop of to the toilets get some tissue,deep breath and of we go upto his new classroom.Everything fine found where his stuff went and they had to draw something they did in the 6 weeks hols.So sam starts his picture of when we went to blackpool and he saw the red arrows.Still ok,now it`s time to leave!!The flood gates open once again "i want you to stay,don`t go"In the end i left him with the teacher,gave him a big kiss said it would be ok and had to leave.Ok why have i got the ones that cry and not the ones that basically aren`t fazed by anything and just do it.Even Danielle got over the tears when she got into yr1.He`s now yr2.I thought he`d got over it by now........Now rant over onto my card.I`ve used my new tilda and coloured her with promarkers.The sketch is from WOJ challenge,and the papers are Henbury lane by papermania.I have used my new Marianne creatable doily and used the flower die that was with it.Loving these!

Hi all,i have to say i made this card before we broke up from school.It was also done quickly as i had 6 to do and about a day to do them.My, sorry our laptop decided to die on us, i lost lost the 2 images i had just downloaded,Cornell and Yale from Mo`s digital pencil.So it was a rush to get everything loaded back on the laptop and had to buy the images again.So finally got the cards done,gave them all out except this one as she left before i had the chance to say goodluck,never mind.She`s going to my son`s school so hope to catch her and give it to her then.
Ok,i have to say i have been playing with my promarkers abit more.So next time i do this image the colouring will be alot better.

Happy Sunday,well what i don`t know about where you live but the weather really can`t make up it`s mind what it want`s to do.One minute it`s blue sky although very windy,next it`s dark cloud and heavy rain.Now back to blue sky!Typical bank holiday weekend then hey!!
Onto my card.I love this tilda,she`s so cute.I`ve coloured her with promarkers and glittered her gloves,tiara and some of her dress.

Good morning all,I`ve made another xmas card for the 4 challenges today.
PAPERCUTZCHALLENGE:-Use metal on your card.(i`ve got 2 gromlets)
TOTALLYPAPERCRAFTS. Clean + simple.
THE SECRET CRAFTER:-Make a start on christmas.
TOTALLY GORJUSS:-Christmas in August.
I`ve just used a papermania stamp that sold out every where last year,stamped it onto the black card and embossed it with white EP.Stamped the sentiment and again embossed that too.
I used my cropadile to set the gromlets,punched 2 holes to thread through my ribbon.Tied my bow and stuck that on with some Pinflair glue gel.Pearls where from The hobby house.Now i didn`t get the black set of pearls so i coloured the white ones with a black promarker.
Well that`s about it,have a fab saturday whatever you decide to do.

Good morning,today`s card is using a sketch from Sketch saturday.I have used papers from MME Wild asparagus and the plain brown is just from stuff i had already.I used my nesties for the circles and my MS punch for the loops.The image is from LOTV,or should i say was.I have just been on there to check and they don`t seem to have them on there anymore.The buttons are from my stash and i used a peeloff for the sentiment.I did some stitching lines around the corners as it looked a little bare and that`s job done as they say.Only two challenges for this card today:-

Good morning all.I tried to make it for the magical monday challenge but failed by 5 mins,but never mind i have other challenges i have entered this card into.
I love this image and as i got this last year with some others,i`m afraid to say i didn`t make any cards with them!!!How bads that i ended up going to tesco and buying them.So this year,now i`m into my blogging and entering challenges,the sketches are helping me out to get them done.The time just seems to be whizzing by.It`s now less than 2 weeks before the kids are back at school!!!That means i`m back to work and also means i better get a move on doing the course work i was set for the hols.I did start abit but have yet to do the bulk of it and the tutor is coming into the session and assessing me on the tues,so better get a move on!!

I hope you all had a good thursday!I had my Niece and Nephew while my SIL was working.Thankfully it has been a lovely day and they spent it out in the garden.The boys played footie and the girls played with the pigs(guinea pigs that is!!)That left me able to make a card YEAH!!!
Papers:- Papermania,white wash core`dinations.

I used a spellbinders die for tilda to sit on and the ribbon,dew drops were all from my stash.
I heat embossed all the edges with glittery EP.Forgive me,i don`t know what it`s called as it has no name on the tube.I sanded the whitewash card stock to uncover the blue to match in.Tilda is coloured with promarkers.With the help of some fantastic ladies i`m actually loving these pens now.I was close to selling them all as i couldn`t get the look i wanted.But with patience(i`m the first to admit i am not very patient.I just expected it to turn out like the very talented ladies Bev,Rach,Jane.)I will get there,practise practise practise.!!! I actually got out the sewing machine.Practise practise practise.Then i maybe able to do a different stitch and in a straight line too!!!LOL!

Hey all,back with my challenge card.

I`m entering this into the Beary sweet challenge-which is the sketch.
Bunnyzoes is looking for vintage.
Stamp something challenge wants to see fairytale somethings.
The papers are MME,la paperie.I have used my grunge swirl stamp around the edges and also around the image.

I have paper pieced Tilda`s outfit,using the same paper.Added gems to her wishes she`s blowing.

I used my MS doily punch for the strip of paper.

Ribbon and pearls are from my stash.

Flowers are of course from wild orchid crafts.

A close up of the flowers i coated with glitter.I really need some glimmer mist!!!

The inside is just pretty simple.I used some more of the DP and added some brown and pearlised paper for the greeting.I then used the MS corner punch.

Well that`s it for me for now.

Wedding towel cake.Stampsomethingchallenge.

Hi guy`s,back from our hols and had a great time.Thanks sis for putting us up!!!Well i finally managed to finish the wedding gift for our neighbour.Isn`t it annoying when you have an idea but when it comes to doing it, it isn`t quite that easy.
Here`s the finished cake with the card as shown in the previous post.I got the towels in Dunnelm Mill.As soon as i saw them i wanted them for this cake,i just thought they were perfect.I used 2 bath towels and 3 hand towels to make up the three tiers.The problem was that the satin trim was on the short sides so this made it difficult when wrapping round, it wasn`t quite long enough.If it were plain it wouldnt of mattered.I got there in the end.
I bought the spellbinders on the vine especially for this cake.As i said, in my head i had the visions of the flowers all coming down the sides.If this was on a 3d box cake or card you could just glue them all where you wanted them,but this being on towels i could`nt.I made small bunches of flowers,wrapped the remaining wire with florist tape,so it wouldn`t snag the towel and pushed it down the gap where the towel had been rolled.the vine was done with vellum,so very light weight and with it having little swirls,i hooked these onto the brown ribbon.With the flowers on each tier these helped to hold them in place too.

I added a Tilda and Edwin bride and groom on the top.These were coloured with distress inks and added a bit of glitter to the headdress,flowers and the bottom of Tildas dress.I attached them to a plant label stick,which i found in wilkinsons.Flowers were from wild orchid crafts.

This was the tag i made just using the plain and scalloped nesties.Again using the same image.

All wrapped up and ready to go!!!

Best get this to them at the weekend,they`ve been married a couple of weeks already,if i leave it any longer the way the time seems to be going their be having their 1st anniversary...LOL!!!

Hope your having a good sunday.I`ve only gone and done it again,made a card using a sketch then missing the deadline!But still i needed to make this card so it`s not the end of the world and at Dutch dare anything goes so i`m entering it there.

I coloured the happy couple with distress inks,added glitter to the dress,headband,flowers and butterflies.

Magical Monday Challenge card.

Well it`s friday,1 week down just another 5 to get through.LOL!
I have made this card for Magical monday challenge.They were looking for glitter,which i`ve added to her wings and in her hair.You do have to use a magical image for these challenges,fairies,dragons,pixies etc.
The decoupage was from a set of C&C but can`t remember who by sorry,had them for ages in a box.The flower and ribbon were from my stash and i added 2 little jingle bells to the bow which i got from Dunelm mill at 1/2 price,bargain.I also added some snow writer to her skirt and the top of her boots and also on the rock she`s sitting on,then dusted it with glitter.I used a corner punch from a set from C&C again.

Hi everyone,hope your having a good day so far.My card is for a few challenges.

The sketch is by the wonderful Bev for LOTV challenge blog.

The colour theme was by colour create challenge,warm pink,chocolate+white.Optional extra is Girly.

The theme over at papertakeweekly is cute.

Bunnyzoescrafts challenge is summer days.

I love browns and pinks together,the brown paper is from my stash that i ran through my cuttlebug.The pink papers are from papermania,Henbury lane.The bottom was punched with my MS doily punch.The image is from LOTV,i love this image,i think it is cute the way she`s with her dog.I coloured this with promarkers and used distress inks for the sky and grass.

The frame around my image was done with the Marianne creatables die.The brown roses are from wild orchid crafts,i did use my promarker to darken it abit more.The other flowers are from my stash,so to are the buttons.Added some glitter glue to the flowers.

I`m still here!!!

Just a quick post to say i`m still here.I have nothing to show you and probably won`t for a little while till i get myself sorted out with the computer.It went funny on us,so had to send it of, only to find out it needed a new hard drive.So it seems were back to square one having to load up all the info on it once again.I`m gutted that i`ve lost some photo`s too.luckily i did burn some onto a disc but not the recent ones.So i have to go through the discs i did do to see how many we`ve got.I hope i haven`t lost too many,as i was suppose to have made my daughter`s friend a scrapbook for her bday which i have now missed,so hope to do it as a xmas gift instead.all being well that i`ve enough photo`s that is!!
Thanks to Debbie for the kind offer of the bags.I wasn`t being rude and ignoring you.I did try to leave a comment on a few blogs the other day,but it seemed to take ages that i give up,sorry.

No card today,just thought i`d let you have a laugh at my expense.Who makes a card designed especially to enter a challenge,posts about it but goes and forgets to enter it in the actual challenge?ME!!! In the words of Delboy 'What a plonker' and as the football finished and i looked up at the clock,i could here Victor Meldrew say 'I don`t believe it!'The card had to be entered by 8pm.I was gutted.Will i ever get the hang of doing this,somebody say yes please.Well off now to get kids ready for school,when i get back i will enter the other 2 challenges(they don`t run out yet!)

Hope you`ve all had a great day?Mine has been really busy,got loads done.Changed Sam and Danielle`s room`s around,finished painting the dinning room and moved the cabinet back in.The only thing i need to do now is bring down the unit hubby made me for my craft stuff.That`s going in the dinning room and then we can have our bedroom clear for a change,as it was all put up there while we sorted things out.I would really love a little room of my own but hey that wont happen till the kid`s leave.LOL!!

Onto my card,i have used the sketch by mojo monday,the papers are by papermania which i distressed with dusty concorde.I have used my new hanglar stamp,boy these are so cute.I have also coloured her with dusty concorde.I used used the MS doiley punch at the bottom.Flowers and ribbon are from my stash and the jewel brad i got half price at Dunelm.If you have one of these shops it`s worth a look as they have loads on sale at the min!

Well that`s it for now,of to finish the dinner!

Whiff of joy card.

Hi all,this is a card i have done for my son`s friend.His party is tomorrow,so had to get it done.
I have used my Whiff of joy stamps.This is my first attempt of colouring them both in,i`m quite pleased with how they have turned out.The gallery at whiff of joy is fantastic.The colouring is to die for.They are so talented. I have coloured Charlie and the dragon with distress inks.I punched the corners with a MS punch also did the strip behind the image with the zigzag MS punch.The papers are just from a stack of different papers i have,i don`t know where i got them.I stamped another shield,but didn`t ink the pattern in the middle.I then coloured it again with distress inks and added peel off letters to spell out his name and added a 6 for his age.I distressed the edges with walnut stain.So fingers crossed he likes it!.
Well have a great evening,I hope to enter some challenges soon too.I keep writing them all down to follow and then never get chance to do them in time.Where do the weeks go!!!It`s only 51/2 weeks before the big summer hols,then before long they`ve gone back to school and the shops are getting in xmas stuff!!!How scary is that!

50th Exploding box

Hi all,this is a box i did for someone at work.The outside is distressed with victoria velvet,The sides i used my new nestie,which i love. I added some flowers and some punched butterflies using my MS punch.The lid is kept white punched with MS punch again.Flowers added from stash.

The inside i have decorated a tea light,which i saw on split coast stampers,again punched the edges with my MS punch.I have printed a poem from the internet and left the others blank for everyone to sign.

Here i`ve used my beautiful Tilda`s to decorate the outer layer.Used nestie circles for image and behind.I also added a musical happy birthday tune which plays when sides fall open,which is hidden under the white layer.

Well have to get ready to get my son from school,it seems to take me ages to do these posts.I`m sure i put a quick post on one before,when it took an age to do.In future i will put brief post, instead LOL!

BABY BOY`S GIFTS

This dark brown monkey was suppose to be used to make a neutral scooter,but i had used all the cream and gold ribbon on the cake,so just made another boy one.

BABY GIRL + NEUTRAL GIFTS

Hi guy`s hope you all had a good bank holiday.Haven`t posted anything for ages,busy with work and also trying to decorate the dining room.Anyway no cards today but i do have a few baby gifts that i was busy doing for my sister to take back home with her.The first is this little cutie.

Now the scooter idea is not mine i`m afraid to say but all credit is to be given to baby favors and gifts. They have fantastic baby gifts i just had to have ago at this scooter,i thought it looked so cute.It`s made from nappies,baby bottle bibs socks and a muslin and blanket.

This one is a trike.I put some flowers to decorate in the wheels too.

This is the usual cake that i make.But this one is for mum and baby.The bottom layer is for mum,which i`ve put in breast pads maternity towels and a pack of face wipes,all wrapped in a bath towel.Then the two other layers consist of nappies wrapped in a blanket and muslin.I also rolled up some socks to decorate round the sides.

I didn`t take any pictures of them wrapped in cello wrap as sometimes it`s a bit hard to see them properly.Hope you like them. Have a good afternoon.

Hi all,hope you have a good morning.

My card today I`m entering into:-

Cute card thursday :- someone special.

Sugarbowl:-theme is recycling(i`ve used the hang loop ribbon out of a top)Sketch is by Marlene.

Colour create:-Khaki aqua,brown,+cream.With the optional extra being circles.

Well i hope i`ve covered all of them!

The papers are MME,i`ve used my nesties for the circles.The image is of course the gorjuss girls .The flower is from my stash and the ribbon i`ve made into a bow.this was the hanging loop in a top i got for xmas.You get some lovely bits of ribbon in tops,i`m always cutting them out.

Well that`s about it,oh i forgot i won some candy today of Bev.I was in shock.It`s my first candy win and i`m so chuffed,big thanks to Bev and Katharina.

StampARTic Challenge card.

This is being entered into the stampARTic challenge which they asked for distress ink backgrounds.I have used a LOTV stamp and thought i make her swing through the apperture.
I`m not to sure on my trees.In my head they were better,i think i`ve made the trunks too big,then i could of bushed out the leaves more at the top.I had fun making it and creating the background(boy were my fingers inky or what,i had used a makeup sponge and so my fingertips looked disgusting as it doesn`t come of that easy.)I used abit of flower soft for abit of colour round the trees,and in the trees as if it were blossom. I coloured the image with distress inks.Hope you like it.

Hi all,hope you all had a good day?.My card is for the just magnolia challenge,which is it takes two.I have used tilda and added the fence behind her which i stamped twice.All was coloured with distress inks.Added some glitter glue around the edges which was still wet when i took this photo.

Just Magnolia/Cute card thursday Challenge Card.

Good morning,hope you all enjoyed your weekend.Here was miserable and because it rained it made it feel cold too!This is my card i`m going to enter in the just magnolia/Cute card thursday challenge.I love all the new stamps and knew what i wanted to do with this tilda as soon as i saw her.I had fun and almost ruined my brayer trying to reverse the image.so one of the images isn`t as clear as the original 1st stamped one.but i don`t think it`s turned out that bad abit faint,i shall keep practising.Infact you can also do it by stamping on acetate,and then transfering it onto the paper/card.Papers are MME,and thanks to the lovely Jane have used my new Stempleglede grunge stamps,love love love these stamps.I`ve used my MS punch for the border,flowers are from my stash added a few gems and some glitter glue.I coloured tilda with water colour pencils.

I have put clear thread in between the two images of tilda and stuck them together and then stuck the thread to the inside of the card and then covered over with the paper.

I thought it would be a good idea to stamp her as if she were twirling onto and of the page.I also tried to line up the middle image so when the card was closed it just looked like one of her.

This is the card open out full.The papers are still MME but i`ve just added some more stamping with the grunge stamps ,on the right hand side,the middle panel i`ve distressed the edge with victorian velvet ink and stamped some swirls with brown memento ink.

I have had these ballet shoes stamp for ages which i got of ebay.So decided to stamp them on some shrink plastic and make a little charm.I added a jump ring and fixed it to some ribbon and stuck it on the frame which again i stamped with my new stamps.
